Trailence

Hiking - A la découverte de Beyssenac

An enjoyable walk amidst nature and heritage, revealing a wealth of hidden treasures in the Corrèze countryside. This loop trail, starting and ending in the village of Beyssenac and encircling it, offers beautiful perspectives on a rural village and commune preserved at the crossroads of Corrèze, Dordogne, and Haute-Vienne. This undulating and verdant area, crossed by a charming little stream, the Ruisseau des Belles Dames, is composed of airy woods, meadows, and fields, offering magnificent panoramas in every season. Notable elements of this commune’s historical and cultural heritage can be found along the route (oval barn, typical buildings and farms, Moulin de la Résistance, Auvezère River, Saint-Médard Church). Follow your instincts! Bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather, don’t hesitate to take a swimsuit if the weather is good, as there is a designated bathing area at the sports nature station. Stay on the marked trails. Respect private property. Respect the animals. Take your waste with you and do not make fires. Leave only your footprints, you love nature, respect it!
