Hiking - Beyond the Water
Follow the Pont-Aubert and delve into the Soursacois undergrowth.
This rather strenuous hike "navigates" through the undergrowth of the Pont-Aubert stream's gorges before it joins the Dordogne River at the Barrage de l'Aigle dam. From La Terrade, you will take a section of the long-distance hiking trail "de Villages en Barrages" (yellow and white markers) which, over 200 km, allows you to discover the Dordogne gorges.
Common starting point with the trail "du Pont-Aubert au Viaduc des Rochers Noirs". Follow the markers carefully upon leaving the village.
