Hiking - At the foot of Mont Alhérac
This loop trail follows beautiful paths lined with low stone walls, climbing up to the impressive Aussets farm, located below Mont Alhérac. From there, all the way to Pruniérette, the horizon opens up, offering a very clear view of the Cantal volcanic massif. On the way down, the trail winds through the woods, offering occasional glimpses of Fournels and the Bédaule valley. This trail follows the discovery trail created a few years ago by the students of the Fournels public school (brochure available at the Fournels tourist information office).
