Hiking - Aubrac au Coeur - from Nasbinals to the Village of Aubrac

A panoramic route between Nasbinals and the village of Aubrac to discover the landscapes and heritage of the Aubrac plateau.

From the village of Nasbinals, the "Capital of the Lozérien Aubrac" and home of the famous bonesetter "Pierrounet", this 18km route leads to the Domerie of Aubrac, following the Way of St. James. After crossing the Chambouliès valley, the path traverses the Ginestouse mountains and its burons to pass below the Gudette volcano. The ascent via the transhumance trail offers a spectacular arrival at Aubrac Abbey.

This hike is strongly discouraged in foggy weather. In winter, this route is impassable.
