Hiking - AURIOL - The Lare Woods

A hike in the Lare woods starting from the Encanaux site, with its historic ice house, the cool river, and the Sainte-Baume massif as a backdrop.

"I started my hike in the early morning to the murmur of the river. The path quickly guided me to the old Encanaux ice house. The ascent into the Lare woods was gentle, filled with the scents of thyme, rockrose, and rosemary. Up top, the garrigue opens up to sublime viewpoints. I continued on, passing typical Provençal landscapes: olive groves, terraced fields, and fig trees... a true picture postcard!". Claire, a hiker who loves the hills of Auriol.
