Hiking - Around the waterfalls and the ossuary of Schorbach

This essentially forest trail will lead you to discover the small waterfalls that surround the peaceful village of Schorbach. At the start of the tour, don't miss a visit to the Arts Centre and its Jozef Pyrz path lined with sandstone, iron, glass and wood sculptures.
The circuit of the waterfalls abounds with as many points of heritage interest as there are little secret corners of nature.
This circuit is part of the paths of excellence of the Pays de Bitche (n° 12). It is marked with a red disc, completed with the "Sentiers d'excellence" badge along the entire length of the circuit. Leave the car park in the direction of the entrance to the arts centre. Take the sculpture path at the back of the building to reach the rue du vieux moulin. Turn left, then right towards rue Principale. Take the stairs on the left to reach the church and the ossuary. Go around the church and go back down to rue Principale. Turn left towards the exit of the village. After the rock chapel, take the forest path on the left. Join the Seilbach waterfall. Continue for 2 km to reach the Neubach drinking trough and then the Neubach waterfall. Continue on the path to join the D162A (be careful when crossing it). Rejoin the Schwingmuehle and turn right onto the asphalt road. Join the Ochsenmuehle and cross the D962, be careful when crossing it. Take the path on the right of the forest house to reach the village. Arriving at the main road, turn left to reach your starting point.
