Walking - A Walk in the Footsteps of Belle & Sébastien

An easy, family-friendly walk in the Gordolasque valley.
You will pass the Belle & Sébastien House. This stone building was used to film the “Belle & Sébastien” series in the spring of 1964! A commemorative plaque was put up in 2014, in the presence of the actor Medhi.
From the Pont du Countet bridge (marker 411), take the path that runs alongside the Gordolasque torrent. To your right, the Grand Capelet (2935m) dominates the valley with its imposing mass, and the flat-topped Tête du lac Autier (2740m) points the way.
Continue past a jumble of large boulders fallen from the mountain, a popular spot for rock climbing.
At marker 413, spot the glacial rock bar and its polished rocks, over which the torrent cascades. Cross the river via the wooden footbridge and descend back to your starting point on the opposite bank.
