Hiking - BEDOIN - Ascent of Ventoux from Chalet Reynard

Advance through the mineral landscape, feeling the call of the summit. Reach the tower, a blend of exhaustion and joy, and create an unforgettable memory.

"From Chalet Reynard, the climb to the summit of Ventoux felt both demanding and magical. The mineral landscape opened up before me, clear and bright, like a path to the sky. Step by step, I felt carried by the energy of the place. When I reached the tower at the summit, it was a true moment of joy and accomplishment." Miriam, an experienced hiker.

  • After the car park: be careful when crossing the D974 road.

  • WEATHER CONDITIONS: this route is not recommended in adverse weather conditions (strong wind, rain, snow, ice, etc.). Before setting off, I check the weather at the summit.

  • HUNTING: during hunting season, I wear brightly coloured clothing, make my presence known and respect the signs put in place by hunters.

  • GRAZING AREA: if livestock guardian dogs come towards me, I do not pet or threaten them. I stop, then wait patiently for their "inspection" to end before calmly continuing on my way, giving the flock the widest possible berth. It is preferable not to bring your dog; if you do, keep it on a tight lead. Learn about the best practices to adopt when encountering livestock guardian dogs.

  • FIRE RISK: fire is the enemy of the forest… and the hiker! I do not smoke or light fires in the forest, as it is forbidden whatever the season! And in summer, before setting out, I check the access conditions and regulations for forest areas.
