Hiking - Bois de Pelloufet
In this small livestock country, tucked away among rolling hills and valleys, you will see herds of cows thriving, brush past the forests of the small massif, and hear the murmur of the Altier stream.<br/>
Hike between open meadows and dense forests, under the watchful eyes of cows or curious to learn more about deer antlers. Find out what was once made from woven wool or beech mast. Discover who was born and raised along the paths of Cubières and Cubiérettes.<br/>
Along the route, signposts and yellow paint markings will guide you. Place names and/or directions to follow are indicated in "<em><strong>bold italics and quotation marks</strong></em>" in the description below:<br/><br/>
From « <em><strong>CUBIÉRETTES</strong></em> », head towards « <em><strong>Village</strong></em> ». At « <em><strong>Village</strong></em> », turn left towards « <em><strong>Las Fouons</strong></em> ». At « <em><strong>Las Fouons</strong></em> », turn left towards « <em><strong>BOIS DU MATHIEU</strong></em> ». At « <em><strong>BOIS DU MATHIEU</strong></em> », turn right towards « <em><strong>Pelloufet</strong></em> » then « <em><strong>Croix de Pelloufet</strong></em> ». At « <em><strong>Croix de Pelloufet</strong></em> », turn right to return towards « <em><strong>CUBIÉRETTES</strong></em> » via « <em><strong>Lou Coumbalio</strong></em> », « <em><strong>Village</strong></em> ». At « <em><strong>CUBIÉRETTES</strong></em> », you can optionally make a round trip to the Pont du Broussous.<br/><br/>
