Hiking - Rochefort Loop

This forest walk will lead you gently to the pretty hamlet of Montmagny.
A lovely, quiet walk through the forest with the sound of water below. Before reaching Montmagny, take a break on the bench and admire the view.

The hike starts from the car park (5 spaces) as you leave “Notre-Dame-du-Pré – Les Plaines”.

Walk along the road for 150 m, then take the forest track on the left.

Follow this path and cross over the railway line (approx. 550 m). Keep to the path on the right and begin the ascent towards the hamlet of Montmagny.

Continue on this forest track to the hamlet of Montmagny (approx. 2.5 km), then head down towards the village and take the path located a few metres before the village fountain (approx. 500m).

Follow this downhill path, which crosses the tarmac road several times, back to the car park at the start of the hike (approx. 2km).
