Hiking - BRENON - Clare Summit

It's impossible not to fall in love with this village and the landscapes of Brenon, with its calm, serenity, and the kindness of its inhabitants.

Starting from the small village of Brenon, this hike will lead you to the summit of Clare hill, from where the panorama stretches over the Artuby, the Pre-Alpine massifs, and the summits of the Verdon Gorges. The viewpoint is not the only interest of this walk, which will also allow you to discover the various Mediterranean tree species and, on the hillside, the karst and its sinkholes, numerous in the Clare sector, as well as the village and the warm inhabitants of Brenon, a true gem.

Avoid the intense summer heat; start early. Bring: 3L of water per person, a hat, and hiking boots. Recommended seasons: summer, spring, autumn. Please do not disturb the sheep accustomed to the tranquility of these mountains.
