Hiking - CÉRESTE-EN-LUBERON - From La Gardette to Nid d'Amour

A very pleasant walk through varied scenery: narrow streets, woods, ridges, flowery meadows, and a small, secret, lush gorge.

• After waypoint 3: It's not uncommon to encounter mountain bikers on this downhill trail (MTB trail no. 56); stay alert!


• Before waypoint 6: The light from your mobile phone or a flashlight can make it easier to get through the old railway tunnel.


• After waypoint 6: Ford crossing. In case of high water, you can cross the Encrême via a footbridge located just upstream from the ford. Otherwise, retrace your steps and, 150 m after the tunnel exit, turn right to return to the streets of Céreste-en-Luberon.
