Hiking - Châteauneuf-la-Forêt to Sussac

Starting from Châteauneuf-la-Forêt, this first 24 km stage of the Entre Combade et Briance loop of the GR® de Pays Monts et Barrages en Limousin will lead you over hills and dales to Lake Sussac.

You will alternately follow farm tracks and forest paths, sunken lanes, and woodland trails... which will offer scenic views of the surrounding valleys.
Halfway along the route, the promontory of Sainte-Anne church seems ideal for a gourmet and relaxing break, offering breathtaking views.
This first stage gently immerses you into this secluded territory.
