Hiking - COURMES - Pic de Courmettes

An accessible climb to the Pic de Courmettes, a viewpoint at an altitude of 1248 m with views over the Prealps and the Mediterranean Sea.

• Between points 6 and 7: a technical section with a steep slope, high steps, and a rocky scramble requiring the use of your hands.


• Be careful in wet weather, as some parts of the hike can be slippery.


• PASTORAL AREA: if livestock guardian dogs approach you, do not pet or threaten them. Stop, wait patiently for them to "check you out" before calmly resuming your way, giving the flock the widest possible berth. It is best not to bring your dog; if you do, keep it on a tight leash. As a reminder, review the correct procedures for encounters with livestock guardian dogs.
