Hiking - Croix de Gratassac
A route with some steep sections, but richly rewarded at the summits: breathtaking panoramas of Mont Lozère, the lake, and the town of Villefort.<br/>Gratassac is the only high point overlooking Villefort, offering a 360° view with spectacular sights of the lake, Castanet, La Garde Guérin, the Saint Loup Chapel, and the Mont Lozère range.<br/>Along the route, directional posts guide you. The names of places and/or directions to follow are indicated in <em><strong>bold italics and quotes</strong></em> in the description below:<br/><br/>From « <em><strong>Villefort</strong></em> », head towards « <em><strong>Av. de la Gare</strong></em> » then « <em><strong>Rond Point du Lac</strong></em> », « <em><strong>Pisciculture</strong></em> », and climb up to « <em><strong>CROIX DE GRATASSAC</strong></em> ».<br/>Continue to « <em><strong>Col de l'Arjala</strong></em> » then « <em><strong>L'Adrec</strong></em> », « <em><strong>L'Affenadou</strong></em> », « <em><strong>Les Hauts des Sédaries</strong></em> ».
