Hiking - From Salins to Brides-les-Bains: a leisurely stroll along the Doron

A well-maintained, family-friendly walk linking Salins-Fontaine to the spa town of Brides-les-Bains. Particularly pleasant in the summer heat, this shaded path winds along the Doron.
A gentle and easily accessible path, with water as its main feature. The forest canopy creates a peaceful landscape, making it a pleasant walk in any season. The route offers the chance to discover the precious riparian forest, riverside vegetation that nourishes and shelters a rich biodiversity!

From the car park near the thermal baths, take the footpath towards the supermarket and continue to the rafting centre.
Below the chalet, by the side of the road, head in the direction of the Île Ferlay recycling centre. You will reach a footbridge in 15 minutes.

2 options:
- go to Brides-les-Bains (approx. 1 hour walk)
- take the path that climbs towards Chemin du Plan, then Avenue du Château to reach Salins-le-Haut (Warning: this second option involves a steep climb).

Choose the first option and continue along the path to Brides-les-Bains.
If you have time, plan a visit to the spa town (park / snack bar / town centre, etc.).

Return via the same route.
