Hiking - From Granges to Carbonnières

Starting from Nasbinals, in the heart of the Aubrac plateau, this loop trail will take you through the wetland of the Ruisseau de Nasbinals and its rich biodiversity. Along the way, you will see old crosses and barns. You will follow the legendary Way of St. James (Chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle) and pass by the foot of Notre Dame de la Sentinelle.
WHAT TO SEE ALONG THE WAY
• Nasbinals: Romanesque church (11th-14th centuries), viewpoint indicator at Notre-Dame-de-la-Sentinelle, start of the GR 670 Urbain V Trail
• The Chemin des Carbonnières, a reminder of the importance of charcoal-making in this region (charcoal was used to forge tools)
Be careful when crossing the D 987 road and walking along the D 12.
