Hiking - From the Bellecombe car park to the Femma refuge

The quintessential mountain pastureland, the Vallon de la Rocheure unfolds its green and welcoming pastures. But upon reaching the Col des Fours, the change in scenery is striking! The landscape becomes loftier, rockier, and wilder.
In the Vallon de la Rocheure, herds of cows and sheep compete with marmots for the lush grass of the alpine pastures. Timeless signs of human presence dot the route: mysterious engraved stones, ancient chapels, and traditional summer chalets.
From the Bellecombe car park, head towards the Plan du Lac refuge (if you stopped the previous day at the Lac Blanc refuge or the Auberge de Bellecombe refuge).

Behind the Plan du Lac refuge, take the trail towards Trou du Chaudron, heading for the Femma refuge. Stay on the trail, which remains level until you reach the track.

Continue on the track into the Vallon de la Rocheure, heading uphill to the right. It becomes a trail at the Rocheure chalet. You will then arrive at the Femma refuge
