Hiking - From the Refuge de l'Orgère to the Pont de la Sétéria via the Col du Barbier

Starting from the heights above Aussois, you'll follow a peaceful and uncrowded trail. Located on the GR55 and Via Alpina routes, the Refuge de l'Orgère offers a timeless stopover in a fabulous setting!
This picture-postcard itinerary weaves through a lovely string of alpine meadows and coniferous forests, some of which are several centuries old! As you progress, the trail offers stunning views of the Dent Parrachée, the Thabor, the Aiguilles d'Arves and the Massif des Écrins. The l'Orgère valley and its abundance of spring flowers lend the hike a bucolic feel. The area is the perfect spot to watch marmots frolicking!
