Hiking - From the Turia refuge to the Arc 2000 resort

The final stage of the Tour du Mont Pourri! Under the triumphant gaze of the Aiguille Rouge, the trail runs at an altitude of 1900 to 2400 m, alternating between forests, rhododendron heaths, and blueberry thickets!
You leave the Turia refuge and its end-of-the-world atmosphere to head towards the Hauts de Villaroger Nature Reserve. Chamois, ptarmigan, and black grouse are among the elusive inhabitants of this protected territory. Spruce, larch, green alders, rhododendrons, alpine meadows, and pastures create the diversity of this exceptional environment. As you approach the Arc 2000 resort, the route skirts an Arolla pine forest, the ideal habitat for the iconic spotted nutcracker.
