Hiking - Forêts de l'Avenquet et de Bouissiéra
A walk through contrasting forests: at the beginning of the trail, the Avenquet forest is home to young conifers. In the second part, the fir forests of Boussiéra are interspersed with downy oak groves.
A hike marked by the contrast between the fir forest and a more Mediterranean atmosphere.

Starting from the Chapelle Saint Sébastien, take the small path that goes down along the edge of the fields and cross the bridge. You will then enter the heart of the National Park.
At Marker 21, continue straight ahead towards l’Avenquet. On your right, notice a young fir forest establishing itself after the area was colonised by Scots pine. On the left is a south-facing garrigue scrubland, with lavender, juniper and a few downy oaks, typical of warmer, drier forests.
After crossing the stream, you will reach a fir forest.
At marker 24, follow the signs for Moulinet. A beautiful viewpoint then opens up before you.
At the end of the descent, cross the bridge and at marker 21, head towards Moulinet.
