Hiking - Grand Tour de Tarentaise (GTT6): Traverse of the Lauzière Massif
Rising between the Tarentaise and Maurienne valleys, the Lauzière Massif offers hikers wild landscapes, preserved natural areas, and a secluded atmosphere.
This sixth stage of the Grand Tour de Tarentaise explores a secluded area, classified as a Natura 2000 site. A massif with distinctly elongated landforms, the Lauzière is home to a wide variety of remarkable landscapes, from hay meadows and high-altitude bogs to ridges and peaks. The route passes through several mountain villages that bear witness to the massif's intense pastoral activity.
