Hiking - GRÉOLIÈRES - Loup Circuit
“This hike is ideal in hot weather: I hiked the entire route in the shade of the forest. You can picnic by the Loup. Once you've climbed back up to the village of Cipières, you get a majestic view of Gréolières and the Cime du Cheiron.” Charlotte Depardon – PNR des Préalpes d’Azur
From the Faïsse car park, walk through the village of Gréolières to reach the Notre Dame path. From there, follow the direction of the Loup Circuit or Cipières.
1-You will cross two departmental roads, the D703 and the D603 (caution). Stay on the yellow-marked path (PR).
2-At marker 173, turn right to reach the bridge crossing the Loup. Then, ascend towards Cipières. Once in the village, take time to wander and discover its picturesque streets.
3-Rejoin the GR4 towards Gréolières on the interpretive trail created by students from Cipières and Gréolières schools. Caution, the descent is on a rocky path.
4-Then cross the Loup via the stone bridge and ascend back to Gréolières village to reach the car park.
