Hiking - La Combe-Crose - Trail No. 5
An easy and very pleasant hike that follows wide forest paths, as well as traversing the heart of vast plains.
This walk, starting from the village of Brassac, will take you up to the heights through the woods and into the heart of green valleys. You will follow beautiful paths offering views of both the Margeride mountains and the Aubrac plateau. Scan the horizon and you might spot the Plomb du Cantal, which is sometimes still snow-capped in spring. A bucolic hike where the scent of pine trees gives way to that of wildflowers.
Bring water and sun protection.
Do not litter; carry all your packaging out with you.
Stay on the waymarked routes.
Remember that the trails are shared, and be respectful of all other users (athletes, tourists, hunters, farmers, etc.).
If you have to open any livestock gates, remember to close them behind you.
