Hiking - La Croix du Pal
A balancing act of a hike along the ridge between the Monts d'Aubrac and the Causses
Climb up, winding your way through the pastures with a magnificent view of the Grands Causses and the Cévennes behind you. As you follow the ridge alongside the forests, the Monts d'Aubrac take shape in the distance. You will finish down in the valley of the Caldeyrac stream.
During grazing season (from June to October), it is strongly advised against bringing a dog, or at the very least to keep it on a leash, due to the presence of herds in the summer pastures.
