Hiking - La Forêt de la Tourre - Route N°1
A family-friendly hike in the heart of plains and flowery meadows. Very little shade, ideal in the morning or late afternoon.
Starting from the charming village of Les Bessons, the circuit winds through a plain of meadows traversed by the Barbuts stream before reaching the hamlet of Cros. The return path follows the edge of the forest and offers expansive
views of the Margeride mountains, from Mont Mouchet to the Truc de Fortunio. This is a family-friendly hike.
Bring water and sun protection.
Do not litter; carry all packaging with you.
Stay on marked trails.
Remember that trails are shared and be respectful of all other users (athletes, tourists, hunters, farmers...)
If you need to cross livestock gates, remember to close them behind you.
