Hiking - La ligne du Tram

Nestled against the western edge of the Réno-Valdieu forest, the village of La Chapelle-Montligeon is an ideal starting point for hikes, offering various routes through countryside and forest to be explored throughout the seasons.

From the village of La Chapelle-Montligeon and its neo-Gothic basilica, the trail gradually enters the heart of the forest, passing through alternating woods and hamlets and offering a fine view of the Saint Victor-de-Réno valley on the eastern edge.

At the halfway point, the trail returns to the starting point along the western edge with its viewpoints, following the path of La Ligne du Tram, a former narrow-gauge railway that used to connect Mortagne-au-Perche to La Loupe.
