Hiking - La Manche Saint-Romain-en-Gal n°1

Orientation table and picnic tables at the trailhead.
From the Grisard plateau, the trail plunges down towards the Rhône, returning through the Sifflet stream valley.
Start from the Grisard car park.
Take the path on the right towards the antennas. After the antennas, follow a path shared with MTB trail No. 21 as far as Croix du Pont.
360° viewpoint over the Monts du Lyonnais and the Alps; on a clear day, you can see Mont Blanc and the Saint-Étienne region.
At the four-way junction, take the second path slightly to the right. At the end of the paved road, take the dirt track on the right going downhill.
After about 20 minutes downhill, there are views of the Rhône and the Seyssuel hillside with its vineyards and the ruins of its castle.
The path then passes through a small hamlet, going around some houses.
After a steep climb, go down to the right towards a pretty little bridge. Do not cross the bridge, but take the paved road on the left.
Go uphill to a bend, then leave the road and take the dirt track on the right.
From this point, you will rejoin MTB trail No. 21, which leads back to the Grisard car park.

⚠️ Warning: busy road, please be careful.
