Hiking - LA ROQUE-ESCLAPON - Bargème - Comps sur Artuby - The Artuby Tour
The final stage passes through an exceptional village, Bargème.
The last stage starts from La Roque-Esclapon and heads towards the medieval village of Bargème (listed as one of France's most beautiful villages). The route then reaches the Artuby valley, crossing it at the Pont de la Souche bridge to reach the hamlet of the same name. The final part of the trail gradually climbs back up to Comps-sur-Artuby, the end of the journey.
Bring 3 L of water per person, a hat, and hiking boots. To avoid the intense summer heat, set off early. Recommended seasons: spring and autumn. Read the recommendations regarding patous (livestock guardian dogs) and check if the forest areas are open during the summer season (June to September).
