Hiking - La tour de Courcourt
One of the most beautiful viewpoints in this guide. From the Courcourt tower on a clear day, all the Auvergne massifs, the castles and the Limagne are spread out before you.
Courcourt TowerStarting from the village of Seychalles, by following a path that runs alongside gardens, orchards and vineyards, you gain access to the summit of a knoll that reaches 463 m, it’s the Courcourt knoll. You discover a vast panorama, endless geometric fields, the vast Limagne plain, with to the East its highest point, Pierre-sur-Haute, Thiers and the Black Woods, then your gaze descends on Ravel, the Petit and the Grand Turluron of Billom. To the West, it’s the chain of Puys, closing the horizon, and closer, Beauregard the Bishop.
