Hiking - Lac de Villefort
A beautiful discovery of the lake, whose filling dates back to 1964. Discover its history with its hydroelectric dam, its submerged village, its body of water, its water activities, and its fish farm.
A hike around the lake where you will constantly be jostled between past and present.
In the heart of the Cévennes valleys, you will discover the work of the valiant people of the last century. The clèdes and bancels bear witness to it.
You will pass above the dam, inaugurated in 1964, which submerged the village of Bayard beneath the waters.
