Walking - LE BEAUSSET - Oratories Trail

A walk in the hills above Le Beausset, to discover a little-known heritage of the Sud Sainte-Baume region!

Le Beausset is one of the communes in France with the largest number of oratories: about fifty monuments that are both stone prayers and heritage treasures. While some have disappeared, others have recently been created, perpetuating an ancestral tradition. Twelve oratories, restored in 2010 by the municipality, line the pilgrimage path leading to the Our Lady of Beausset-Vieux chapel.

In summer, the area is at high risk of forest fires. Consequently, access is restricted from June 21 to September 20. Check the access conditions for forest areas, which are updated daily on the Var prefecture's website.
