Hiking - Le Chemin de Grange-Rouet - Pavezin n° 1
Take the road that goes up in front of the church and continue it, slightly to the right, to cross the village. Turn left onto the D 30 for about 200 meters in the direction of Col de Pavezin.
At the bend, take the path on the right, descend through the chestnut grove, then cross the stream “La Guilleranche” and ascend steeply (caution, turn left before the paved road). At the intersection of hiking paths, follow the brown and white markers in the direction of “Grange-Rouet”.
In Grange-Rouet, take the small road on the left that descends. It holds a surprise for you: on your right, about a hundred meters from the hamlet, you will discover surprising statues in the beech forest. They are the work of the owner of this beech forest: Louis CROZET. Admire with your eyes, with your heart, with your hands, but not with a chainsaw! Shortly after, you will reach the Farges crossroads. Continue on the road for a few meters, then take the forest track on the right for about 1 km. At the four-way intersection, turn left and descend to the road, which you follow until the 2nd path on the left.
Cross the D 7 and continue on the path for a few meters, then take the trail on the right, through the woods. It crosses a chestnut grove, then crosses the D 30 and brings you back, still descending, to the village, which you cross to reach the parking area.
