Hiking - The Heather Path Malleval n° 2

Head north towards the factory, then follow the road alongside the pétanque court, go straight at the hairpin bend and take the path. You will cross a small wood before emerging onto the Côte Bellay vineyard. Stay on the same path: do not go down towards the meadow below, nor up towards the upper vineyards. Continue on the terrace until you reach the woods; the route gradually ascends to a steep climb that brings you to the hamlet of Perrin. Take the road to the left, up to the white house, then take the path to the left which descends to the Molina stream. Curiously, the latter changes its name upon reaching Malleval and becomes the Epervier. Follow it first on the left bank then on the right bank; you will easily reach the hamlet of Paton. Continue on the road for about a hundred meters, then take the path to the left that leads you across the stream once more. You will find the road and the starting pétanque court again. The parking lot is just a stone's throw away.
