Hiking - The Lugny Circuit
If you had hiked this circuit a century ago, what a crowd of people you would have met! In the heart of the forest stood a clearing farm of the Carthusians of Lugny: Maison Neuve. It burned down in the 1950s; for lack of water, nothing could be done to save it. Nothing of it remains. Running alongside the valley, the old departmental road, replaced by the D928 in the 19th century, led from Recey-sur-Ource to Leuglay via Lugny, where you can admire its gateway and outbuildings: Argillière, a former farm, and Froidvent, an old furnace.
