Hiking - Le hameau de la Cloche

A walk around the Maquis de Plainville, a significant site of the Percheron Resistance, on paths lined with boxwood hedges, offering views of the winding Cloche river.
This trail is certified by the French Hiking Federation. It is also part of an eco-walk offering proposed by the Eure-et-Loir Nature association.

This hike, bordered by numerous pastures, allows you to discover the verdant valley of La Cloche. The Cloche river rises in the neighbouring commune of Frétigny and flows into the Huisne (a river that runs through Nogent-le-Rotrou). This trail is also steeped in history and remembrance. Indeed, in a grove, opposite the farm of the same name, the Maquis de Plainville, a major site of the Resistance, will reveal itself to the hiker.
