Hiking - The Puy Aillaud Lake (from the hamlet)
A beautiful journey above the valley, starting from a perched hamlet.
The steady trail may seem a little tough, but the reward awaits with an increasingly vast panorama. The lake, nestled in the hollow of the Rouya summit, gives the hike a more intimate character at the end.
Since the hike is mostly on a southern slope, it’s better to start early on hot days and be sure to bring enough water.
On some summer days, the chairlifts of the Pelvoux-Vallouise resort are open to pedestrians. It is then possible to reach the lake from the top of the ski lifts.
