Hiking - LE LOGIS DU PIN - LA MARTRE - Napoleon's Path
A short, scenic hike alongside the Taulane golf course
“I was captivated by this walk to La Martre, at an altitude of 997 metres—almost alpine for the area—surrounded by mountains, woods, and meadows, in a stunning, pristine, and preserved natural environment. Wander its narrow streets to discover its historical heritage. On the way back, do as I did and stop at the 'bistrot de Pays' La Merenda, which means 'snack' in the Niçois dialect. There, you can also stock up on regional specialities, local wines, bread, and other delicious artisanal pastries.” Stefano Blanc, hiking technician at the Verdon Regional Natural Park
Bring 2 L of water per person, a hat, and hiking boots. To avoid the strong summer heat, set off early. Best seasons: spring and autumn. Read the recommendations concerning patous (livestock guardian dogs) and check for information during the summer season (June to September) on forest access restrictions.
