Walking - Le Mont Ligeon
A family-friendly walk with fine views of Notre-Dame Basilica, passing through woodlands on the forest's lower slopes.
Starting from the village of La Chapelle-Montligeon and its Neo-Gothic basilica, the route first leads through the countryside along the Villette river and its two mills. It then climbs towards the forest, passing near the group gîte, and at the foot of Mont Ligeon which gave its name to the village, before an ascent into the woods, and finally a return and descent towards the village behind the basilica.
