Hiking - Le plateau du Taillefer

This fragment of Lapland in the heart of the Alps presents a highly diverse environment.

The Fourchu plateau offers hikers a unique landscape in Oisans, resembling the tundras of northern Europe. Countless small glacial lakes, some of which have turned into peat bogs, are nestled within the heathland.

Camping, fires, and water activities (including swimming) are prohibited on the Taillefer plateau. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Bivouacking between 7 PM and 9 AM is allowed, but only in designated areas.
