Hiking - The Font Turbat Refuge via the Small Valley

This itinerary crosses wild landscapes to reach an incomparable view of the north face of the Olan.

Let’s open the doors of the Bonne Valley shaped by glaciers and make our way to the Font Turbat refuge, the only refuge in Valjouffrey, for a complete change of scenery and a unique view of the summit of the Olan and its north face.
This excursion starts at the village of Désert-en-Valjouffrey, follows the Bonne stream, and leads to the Font Turbat refuge. Above the refuge, the Olan towers like nowhere else.

On the second day, we overlook the refuge while passing through the small valley, then the rest will be all downhill and will allow a short detour to the Pisse waterfall.
