Hiking - The Châtelleret Refuge

Beautiful route allowing access to the foot of the south face of La Meije without difficulty.

This ascent is an opportunity to first discover the magnificent moraine of the Bonnepierre valley and the western face of the Ecrins. Then, after crossing through junipers and rhododendrons, the landscape opens onto the south face of La Meije and the summit of Le Râteau.

In case of heavy traffic, parking is available at the entrance of the village just before the bridge.
