Hiking - The fox trail

The Col de Montjardin pass links the Causse Noir plateau with Mont Aigoual. The path makes its way through contrasting scenery: Causse steppe with its scattered small battalions of box trees; deep forests on the Aigoual slopes; abrupt green gorges populated by Scots pines; cracked cliffs carved by the elements; ravines full of nooks where some trees have miraculously found a pocket of soil
Before committing yourself to a circuit, ensure that it is suitable for your activity level and ability. Remember that the weather changes quickly in the mountains. Take enough water. Please close all gates and barriers behind you.
