Hiking - LE SAIX - Clausonne Loop

• Before waypoint 1: steep section through the marls.


• RESPECT THE TRANQUILLITY of the area. Avoid shouting and do not use musical instruments or sound devices (radios, etc.), out of respect for other users and for the peace of the local wildlife, especially during breeding and wintering seasons when animals are much more vulnerable. 


• Avoid picking wild plants: some of them are protected species.


• Part of the route is highly exposed to the sun; bring the necessary gear (water, hat, sun cream, etc.) on hot summer days. An early morning start is recommended to avoid the hottest part of the day.


• FIRE RISK. Fire is the enemy of the forest... and the hiker! Do not smoke or light fires in the forest, as it is forbidden year-round! And during the summer season, before setting out, check the access conditions and regulations for forested areas.
