Hiking - Le Saut de l'Agneau - Bessey n° 2
A walk along a section of the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago).
Start in front of the fresco. Take rue de l’alambic (the Camino trail) to the paved path. Turn left (towards la Ribaudy), go downhill, cross the road and continue straight on to the "Saut de l’agneau". Take the path on the left (towards la chaise haute). When you reach the road from Bessey to Gencenas, go straight on (towards les Serves, la Chaize). At the end of the dirt track, turn left (route de la Tronchia) until you reach the route de Montalivet. After 150m, take the route des Combes on the left to the cemetery. Finally, turn right to return to the village.
You are responsible for your own safety. Therefore, you hike at your own risk. Stay on the waymarked trails to preserve fragile areas.
A few recommendations:
Check the weather forecast before you set off
Some routes cross busy roads: Be careful
Keep dogs on a leash
Do not light fires
Take your litter home with you
Enjoy the flowers, do not pick them.
Tick bites can cause serious illnesses. As a preventive measure: Wear long clothing, use insect repellent, check your body when you get back, remove ticks with a tick removal tool without applying any substance to them, and see a doctor if a rash or flu-like symptoms appear, or if you are in a high-risk group.
For emergency services, dial 18 or 112.
