Hiking - The Spaniards' Trail

This superb circuit, starting from the charming village of Saint-Juéry, will lead you, through meadows and small woods, to the remarkable medieval site of Arzenc d’Apcher, then to the end of the Grandvals dam reservoir, before following the Sentier des Espagnols, a balcony trail that overlooks the Gorges du Bès.
TO DISCOVER ALONG THE WAY:

• Arzenc d’Apcher: church (13th-18th c.), tower remains (14th-16th c.), viewpoint over the Gorges du Bès


• Saint-Juéry: sculpted cross (11th or 12th c.), communal oven


• Gorges du Bès: viewpoints, climbing routes

• Not recommended for people prone to vertigo


• No mountain bikes allowed
