Hiking - The Forest Trail - Jonzieux no. 2
A family-friendly walk through meadows and coniferous forests. This loop can also be done by mountain bike with children.
From the church, head towards the shops opposite, then turn left. Go down Rue du Bois Joli (this is a one-way street). Cross the main road to continue straight on along the small paved road and take the first path on the right, which leads to the hamlet of Rebaude and emerges onto the Jonzieux - St-Just Malmont main road. Follow it to the left for 15 metres, then turn right twice onto the country lane. Follow the trail markers through fields and woods. The path meets the Jonzieux – Saint-Genest Malifaux main road near a large farm building. Follow this road to the left for a few dozen metres, then turn right towards Goyet.
At the entrance to the hamlet, turn right onto the small road that joins the Jonzieux – Saint-Genest Malifaux main road at the place known as Furet. Cross the road to enter the hamlet and after 200 metres, at the small cross, turn left onto a path. Follow it for about 300 metres, then look carefully for a path on your left at another hairpin bend, where you should turn towards Jonzieux. To return to the village, head up Rue de la Durerière back to the Place de l’Eglise (Church Square).
