Hiking - Le Signal de La Grave

Le Signal de La Grave rises a thousand meters above the Romanche Valley. Its summit offers a full panorama of the north face of La Meije. It also allows you to discover the Pic du Goléon and the Martignare valley, which opens the doors to Savoie.

While walking along slopes dotted with edelweiss in summer, this hike passes through several hamlets on the sunny side of La Grave, allowing you to discover their heritage.

The ascent from La Grave is sustained and faces due south, so it is better to start this route early in the morning; along the way, you can refresh yourself at the various fountains of Ventelon, des Clots, and des Terrasses.
