Hiking - The Tour of the Dams Planfoy 4
Discover the Gouffre d'Enfer and Pas de Riot dams via the Furan Valley.
2 possible starting points: The village square or le Vignolet (motorhome stopover area, stadium)
Starting from the village square:
Facing the church, take the uphill path on the right between the school and the town hall towards the quarry, until you reach the Vignolet stadium. This section is shared with trail no. 3.
At le Vignolet, head left towards the football stadium; the initial forest track narrows before dropping down towards the Pas de Riot dam. Go to the end of the dam, then follow Parc trail no. 6 (waymarked in brown and white), which runs alongside the Pas de Riot and drops down into the Furan Valley. Cross the Gouffre d'Enfer dam wall; the Parc trail will then lead you back to the village of Planfoy via a pleasant climb.
Viewpoint over Rochetaillée and the Planfoy via ferratas for adults and children.
