Hiking - Les chalets de la Taure
An easy loop hike in the heart of the Bois des Ayes.
Spanning nearly 400 hectares, it is one of the most beautiful Swiss stone pine forests in Europe, with a high proportion of old trees.
Some parts of the Natura 2000 site Bois des Ayes are protected areas with specific regulations, and the law provides fines in case of violations. The Bois des Ayes reserve aims in particular to protect the nesting of woodpeckers, nocturnal raptors, and the Black Grouse.
The site is open to everyone, but do not forget to follow a few recommendations:
- Stay on marked trails
- Keep your dog on a leash
- Behave discreetly
- Photograph flowers and animals from the trails
- Leave stones in place
- Do not light fires
- Take your trash with you
